I am a proud queer and transgender therapist who has dedicated my practice to providing inclusive and culturally humble services to all. My passion is in providing care to LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples & families. Additionally, I run therapy & support groups for LGBTQIA+ youth and plan to create more group spaces for people to connect to their community and peers. I have also had the privilege of providing training and education to professionals, clients and families on providing a safe and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ youth.
I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2014 with my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology before returning to Ohio State for my Masters of Social Work, which I earned in 2018.
I have been licensed to practice counseling in my home state of Ohio since 2017 and gained licensure in 2024 to practice in Virginia, where I currently reside.
I believe that studying both psychology and social work allows me to best use a multi-systemic approach to find the right path to meet you where you are and help get you where you want to be. It is through my experience and knowledge in mental health that I can assist you in exploring and understanding yourself, your life, and your experiences while we work together to help you achieve your goals.
Finding the right therapist can be tricky, and I know that it can be hard to open up to a stranger that you’ve just met. It’s my goal to help you feel comfortable and safe in sessions with me. Therapy should feel natural, not forced, in order to achieve your goals.
